From the moment we are born, the aging process begins in every single one of us. If you are a living creature, you are going through the aging process. Fortunately, there are a number of things that we can do to keep ourselves healthy and active, and to slow down many of the factors that lead to aging. However, one of the most important factors in anti-aging is the condition of the cells in our body. In other words, what ever happens to these living cells is the key to anti-aging. Your body is made up of nearly 100 trillion living cells that are kept strong and healthy with nutrition. Every one of those cells dies off and is replaced with a new cell at regular intervals. As time passes your entire body is completely replaced with new cells, usually after a few years.
Amazingly, our bodies were designed with the ability to regenerate or fix themselves, as long as we take care of it properly. If these living cells have not been receiving proper nutrition, its replacement will be a weaker version of the cell. When this happens, your body is degenerating causing it to age more rapid. If these living cells have been receiving proper nutrition and its replacement is the same strength as its predecessor, then your body’s condition remains essentially the same. If your replacement cell is stronger than the previous one, then you’re actually regenerating the body, and reversing the aging process. This anti-aging process is only possible if you give your cells plenty of the food and or energy to work with.
Usually when we reach our late twenties or early thirties, many of us start noticing the first signs of aging. We then realize were not kids anymore and accept the fact that what’s happening is an inevitable process of nature. A few gray hairs, sagging skin, and facial wrinkles are some of the signs. As more time passes, other signs gradually appear. It’s getting harder to wake up in the morning, your hearing and vision aren’t what they used to be, your sex life isn’t as active as it once was. As we look around, we see the same things happening to our friends and family.
The human body can take a tremendous amount of abuse and neglect. During our younger years, we don’t think about our bad habits, since it may take several years for the effects to become apparent. However, neglect yourself long enough and you may one day find yourself suffering through the late period of your life with a wide range of problems ranging difficult seeing and hearing to cancer, heart disease, and brittle bones.
